A New Talent

Jessica has found a new talent thanks to Activity Days the other night.  She learned how to knit with her fingers.  This resulted in a trip to WalMart and $50 in yarn!  She has been making scarves every chance she gets.  They are actually pretty cute, I am so proud of her!  

Fall Fun Festival 2008

One of Jessie's favorite things to do is attend a carnival, party or festival.  So of course when the school had it's annual fall festival, she made sure we were in attendance.  Even when I tried to bribe her by paying her the money it would cost us to go.  There was no way she was going to miss this!  

Water Beauty

Jessica was a real trooper this trip. She tried so many new things. She tried wake boarding, skiing, fishing and she is the master controller of the tube! She even was able to hold on when she went up against Uncle Mike! Good job Jessie!

Fun in 4th Grade

Jessie has really enjoyed school this year. Fourth grade brings many new things. To start with, how about growing 10 inches since the start of the school year. It might be hard to find pants to fit this skinny, but very tall girl; however it sure makes it easy to spot her in the recorder program!



After the recorders, we watched the class Tinickel. It is very fun to watch and the kids had to be in great shape. Jessie did a fabulous job with her routine. Fourth grade has been a BLAST!

First Day Of School

Jessica was so excited to start 4th grade. I can't believe she is that old! She picked out her favorite outfit to wear on the first day. She wanted to be matching from head to toe!

Sand and Water Are My Thing!

We all know that Jessie is a fish! She loves to play in the water. She can be entertained for hours when she has a life jacket and a lake! She also likes to make sand castles. She digs and digs and loves being covered in the mud!

Summertime Fun

Jessie and her friend Madelyn found a way to beat the summer heat! They pulled out the Slip'n'Slide! Although the water was very cold, and they would scream as they went down the slide, they said it felt great to cool off!

I Finally Can Flip!

The trampoline is a favorite at our house. I don't think there is much time during the day that someone is not out jumping on it. Jessica was so excited when she got daring enough to do a flip. Now look at her...she's an expert!

Hip Hop Rules!

Jessie just recently had her year end dance recital. She did a great job as always. She knew every step of her dance. This year she tried a hip hop class and really lliked it. She took the class with her good friend Madelyn. And don't worry, Ty remembered to bring her flowers!

Taking It All In

Ya gotta love those shots when you catch your kids just taking a step back and taking it all in. Doesn't Jessie look awesome? We love our smart little girl! She is such a great big sister. Jaxon was needing a friend to play with and she steps up and had a stuffed animal party with him. Thanks for being you Jessie!

Look Who Can See!

Jessie just got glasses this past week. Doesn't she look cute! She picked out the glasses all by herself. They are pink with pink and purple beads on the sides. (I guess it's all about the bling!) She is loving that she can read all the signs as we drive down the street. We love your new look Jessie Jo!

Birthday Weeks Are Awesome!

This year Jessie got to celebrate her birthday for a whole week. It started off with a party at Grandma Jo's. Then it was princess for the day. Then it was her actual birthday with breakfast in bed and another cake! She is so lucky. Lots of celebrating this year and that always means lots of presents! Happy Birthday Jess!

Fiesta Fun!

Just last week Jessica went on a date with Ty. This time she invited him. (Usually he calls her to go to dinner.) She took him to one of her all time favorite things in the world, a fiesta! They ate tacos, wore their best fiesta hats and Jessie even taught Ty a few dance steps. They had a ball. Jessie can't wait to do it again!

Salt Lake City, A Great Place To Visit

Jessie had a good time on her February vacation. She is so fun to hang out with. When we went to The Roof for dinner, we told the kids to try anything they wanted, if they didn't like it they could just try something else. Jessie is a daredevil, she was brave and tried a few new things. She tried some type of appetizer that we still don't know what it was, but she liked it! She did stick with her all time favorite, the French Onion Soup. She had three bowls of it! She also really like the temple view from the windows. She said she couldn't stop looking at it! She also liked the fact that when we got back to the hotel room, we changed and went swimming for the second time of the day. Lucky for us the hotel pool was open unitil 11:30 pm. Now she's asking when we are going back!

Christmas 2006

Jessie had a great Christmas. She was asking for a guitar and the American Girl Doll, Josephina. She got them both. She's such a good girl! Jessie also loves art and she got her first oil painting set. We are so excited to see what she will paint! Merry Christmas Jessie!

Christmas Program 2006

It's always so fun during the holiday's to go to each different school to see what the kids have been working on. This year for Jessie it was Christmas around the world. They did a fabulous singing performance of many different tradional carols from all over the world. They even sang a song in Yiddish. (I didn't even know that Yiddish was a language!) It was great! Unfortunately this is the only picture we got because the camera battery was dead when we got to the school. But as you can see, Jessie looked beautiful!

Smartie Art

Jessica had a great time on our recent St. George getaway. We went to watch conference and have a relaxing family weekend. Jessie was playing conference bingo and covering the bingo boxes with smarties. Well, can we say we think she got board with the bingo game? Fabulous art work Jessie!

Lake Powell Beauty

Look at our bathing beauty Jessica! She has always loved being in the water because that means you can wear a swimming suit. She had a great time in Lake Powell. Her favorite part was hanging out at camp and riding in the tube. She was also a great helper with Jaxon. One afternoon while relaxing on the boat, a dragon fly landed on Jessie's toe. She thought that was awesome, she had never touched a dragon fly before! I couldn't believe it stayed there long enough for us to take a picture.

3rd Grade Rules!

This year in school Jessie is in 3rd grade. We can hardly believe how fast she is growing up! She loves her teacher and has lots of friends in her class. Her favorite subject in school is reading. Right now she is reading all the Ramona books. We love it because Jessie kind of reminds us of Ramona! She is always helping, wants to play with her big brother and she can save the day!
